CASH ON DELIVERY (COD) POLICY

At THE KAPA, we understand that some customers prefer Cash on Delivery (COD) over full online payment. To provide a secure and reliable shopping experience for both customers and our business, we offer Partial COD instead of Full COD.
By placing a COD order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
PARTIAL COD ONLY
THE KAPA DOES NOT OFFER FULL COD ORDERS.
To confirm a COD order, customers must make either:
• A minimum advance payment of ₹200, or
• 50% of the order value, whichever is applicable.
The remaining balance can be paid at the time of delivery.
COD ORDER CONFIRMATION PROCESS
A COD order is not automatically confirmed when it is placed on the website.
After a COD order is placed:
- Our team will contact the customer via WhatsApp within 1–3 working days.
- The customer must confirm the order with our team.
- The required advance payment must be successfully completed.
- Only after these steps are completed will the order be considered Confirmed and moved to processing.
Orders that are not confirmed or do not receive the required advance payment may be cancelled by THE KAPA without prior notice.
ORDER DATE & PROCESSING
For COD orders, the date of confirmation will be treated as the official Order Placement Date for processing purposes.
Processing timelines begin only after:
• Customer confirmation is received, and
• The required advance payment has been successfully completed.
WHY WE FOLLOW THIS POLICY
This policy has been implemented to ensure a fair experience for both customers and THE KAPA.
In the past, some COD shipments were refused or cancelled after they had already been shipped. Such situations often result in courier complications, lost shipments, and operational losses.
To continue offering COD as a payment option while keeping prices reasonable for all customers, THE KAPA requires a small advance payment as a commitment from the buyer.
The Partial COD system helps protect both parties:
• Customers are not required to pay the full amount upfront.
• THE KAPA receives confirmation that the order is genuine and intended for delivery.
This allows us to continue offering COD services while maintaining efficient operations.
CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By placing a COD order on THE KAPA website, you acknowledge and agree that:
• Full COD is not available.
• COD orders require customer confirmation via WhatsApp.
• An advance payment of ₹200 minimum or 50% of the order value is required.
• COD orders are not considered confirmed until the verification and advance payment process is completed.
• Processing timelines begin only after order confirmation.
